Hold the footswitch. Stack two sounds.

Need pad and piano under a chorus? Hold the footswitch and Layera layers the two patches together. Release to drop back to a single sound. Beautiful, instant, no programming.

04 · PAIRED WITH CUE ENGINE

Your DAW switches patches for you.

Drop section markers in your DAW. When the Chorus marker fires from Cue Engine, Layera flips to your Chorus patch automatically — while you keep playing. Verse, Bridge, Outro: all hands-free.

05 · PATCH LIBRARY

Name your sounds. See them all at once.

Layera shows your patches as a big grid — "Worship Piano", "Lead Pad", "Bridge Synth", "Tag Organ". Glance and know where you are. The active one glows.

06 · MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE

Any controller. Any pedal. Any sequence.

Layera listens for MIDI Program Change on any port you choose. Send PC 1 for Piano, PC 2 for Pad, PC 3 for Lead. Route from your sequencer, controller, foot pedal — whatever you already use.

macOS 13 or later. Activate by signing in with the email you bought with — no license key to copy.

  1. Double-click the downloaded Layera.zip to unzip it, then drag Layera into your Applications folder.
  2. The first time you open it, Control-click (right-click) Layera → Open. If macOS says it can’t verify the developer, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click “Open Anyway” — then open Layera again.
  3. When Layera asks to find devices on your local network, click Allow (so it can sync with Cue Engine).
  4. On the Sign In screen, enter the email you bought Layera with. Layera emails you a 6-digit code — type it in and Layera unlocks automatically. No license key to copy, and it works offline from then on.
